Indians wrestling team takes fourth place at Lancaster tournament
Despite being shut out of a podium finish in Lancaster County last week, the Northumberland Indians Wrestling Team concluded their last tournament with an overall fourth-place result and six individual medalists, including three gold winners.
Nine schools and a makeshift team competed Saturday in the Lancaster Invitation Wrestling Tournament. Middlesex took home the team trophy over Tabb, who took runner-up.
The battle for the third place team was decided between the Lower Northern Neck rivals with the Lancaster Red Devils topping Northumberland for the spot.
The Indians finished fourth overall with Franklin rounding out the top five finishers through a victory over the Essex Trojans.
