Local author David Cariens discussed his new book “Virginia Tech, Make Sure it Doesn’t Get Out,” a critique of the response to the mass shootings at Virginia Tech in 2007, at the Northumberland County’s Democratic meeting last Thursday.
Cariens, a retired CIA officer and a current instructor on investigative techniques for the CIA and FBI spent several years compiling the comprehensive review of the Virginia Tech shootings.
