NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 11, 15.2-1800 of the Code of Virginia as amended that the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on February 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Northumberland County Courts Building at 39 Judicial Place adjacent to the Sheriff’s Office in Heathsville, VA for consideration of granting a lease agreement to The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, for the purpose of maintaining and patrolling Lodge Landing owned by the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors located at the end of Lodge Landing Road. The facility will continue to be used as a public landing and water access point.

Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, that the Northumberland County Wetlands Board, at a meeting in the Board of Supervisors Room of the Old Courthouse in Heathsville, Virginia, on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, commencing at 7:00 P.M., will consider the following applications for wetland and/or coastal primary sand dune and beach permits:
1. Request by Stephen A. George (V.M.R.C. #15-0041) to install 100 linear feet of riprap revetment and reface 65 linear feet of existing riprap revetment along the shoreline of Bridge Creek and 522 Forest Green Road.
2. Request by Potomac View Cottage, LLC (V.M.R.C. #15-0042) to install 75 linear feet of riprap and armor stone revetment and install a 24’ stone groin along and from the shoreline of Rogers Creek and 383 Rogers Creek Road.
3. Request by Ed Sisson (V.M.R.C. #15-0051) to remove an existing pier and construct a 12’ x 88’ commercial wharf from the shoreline of Penny Creek and 449 Wicomico View Lane.
The applications requesting the proposed permits are on file in the Office of Building and Zoning at the Old Courthouse in Heathsville, VA, where all interested parties may view and inspect the projects. Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 22, 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended that the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Northumberland County Courts Building (220 Judicial Pl) in Heathsville in order to consider the following requests.
1. Request by James Teichert and Cecily Garka, owners, for an Exception to the Chesapeake Bay Act in order to construct a single-family dwelling partially within the Resource Protection Area located on Tax Map Parcel #18-E(1)–58- on Spinnaker Lane.
2. Request by Edwin A. Sisson, owner, for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 12’x88’ open-pile pier for commercial seafood operations located at 449 Wicomico View Lane.
