Call To Artists! There has never been a better time to join the RAL Art Center’s 58th Annual Labor Day Art Show! Artists are invited to enter original works of art in any media. The show is limited to 200 works of art and will be held August 28-September 28 at the RAL Art Center. Early entry is recommended (804) 436-9309.

Northumberland Indivisible will register voters from 5-8 p.m. at 195 Judicial Place during National Night Out in recognition of the 54th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. Bring photo ID. Voter registration at Northumberland Library the second and fourth Saturdays 10 a.m.-Noon.

Mount Zion Baptist Church homecoming and revival begins 11 a.m. Sunday with Rev. Dr. Timothy Boddie and “Sons of God.” Dinner follows the morning service. Revival begins at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Aggie Brown and music by The Morris Family of Essex County. Rev. Brown continues revival Mon.-Wed. beginning 7:30 nightly with various church choirs.
