PharmacyThe Northern Neck-Middlesex Free Health Clinic (NNMFHC) was recognized October 5 for its role in dispensing approximately $7,800,118 in free prescription medication for 3,709 low-income, uninsured patients through participation with the statewide nonprofit Rx Partnership (RxP).
The NNMFHC received its certificate of recognition at RxP’s 11th annual Affiliate Roundtable October 5 at the Medical Society of Virginia in Richmond. During the roundtable, the NNMFHC Pharmacy staff gave the “Clinic Spotlight” presentation on partnering with charitable medication distributors.
The NNMFHC began participating as an RxP Affiliate in 2004, when RxP, a public/private partnership, was created to increase access to free prescription medications for Virginia’s eligible uninsured through Virginia’s free clinic partners.
