The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum held its second Hot Night festivities and danced to the sounds of the Big Boss Man Band from Richmond Saturday in Reedville.
The event was scheduled to be at the pavilion, but due to rain and threatening thunderstorms, it was moved to Festival Halle.
Director Lee Langston-Harrison, of the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum, said this was the second of three concerts to be held over the summer featuring the theme ‘Hot Nights, Cool Music’ for their summer concert series.
The series will conclude with another band from the Richmond area, the Planet Full of Blues.
Harrison said all proceeds would go to the museum’s general operating fund. The museum is in its 30th year, and has an aging infrastructure, and is continually trying to raise money to pay for the upkeep of the museum.
Harrison has been the director for the last year and a half and has over 40 years experience as a museum curator.
