Folks came from far and near to enjoy Cople District VFD’s 8th annual Strawberry Festival in Kinsale on Saturday, May 11. The day was graced by the music of Muddy Boots.
Everyone had so much fun, ranging from 13-year-old chihuahuas to tiny babies to nonagenarians.
It was just great that the rain held off till after 5, and that Kinsale’s dowagers Betty Arnest, Betty Bailey and Helen Hinson were all able to be present.
Charlotte Hayman of Reedville and her husband Sonny complimented the Town for being “most special and friendly,” and said how much they loved touring Linda Lewis and Ann Lewis’s garden, as well as Tommy Lewis’s “nostalgic museum upstairs in the Fire Station.
