The personal injury lawyers at Marks & Harrison in Richmond have announced the details of their 2017 Annual Scholarship Competition. This year’s essay topic is about distracted driving, which particular attention to popular apps like SnapChat. The competition is open to students from Essex, Rappahannock, Northumberland, Washington & Lee, and Lancaster High schools are eligible to enter the contest and there will be four prizes awarded; the top prize is a $1,000 scholarship. Combined prizes total $2,000.
On September 1, 2017, eligible applicants can submit an essay of 600 words or less or a video that is two minutes or less.
