High turnout on hot day

What would you do on a beautiful Saturday when the temperature is over 100 degrees? Dedicated hobby and sports enthusiasts were at the Callao Recreational Park for the third annual vehicle show and lawn mower pull. There were over 100 hooks to the lawn mower sled with participants from all over Virginia and parts of Maryland. The Bryants, who came all the way from Emporia, registered two grandparents, two sons, one daughter-in-law and three grandchildren to compete. In addition to the regular Class A and B lawn mowers, there was a separate class for two lawn mowers modified to run with motorcyle engines.
