Last Wednesday the long awaited event came to pass, not with trumpets and fanfare, rather with a man unlocking a door. Word of mouth spread, and despite the chilly, gray weather, people crowded into Nino’s Pizza in Callao.
The dining room filled almost to capacity during the lunch rush, as folks traveled from Warsaw and beyond to visit a favorite eatery of the area. The décor was all new, from the ceramic tile floors, to the wood and stone on the walls. New tables and paintings of Italy finished of the gleaming new look of the dining room. The lunch bar was stocked with ziti with vodka sauce, various pizza, and garlic knots.
