Cloudy skies and a light drizzle did nothing to dampen the spirits or the attendance of the Farm and Field Day held at Northumberland High School on Saturday, April 13.
The greenhouse was overflowing with fresh plants, flowers and vegetables that the PAES (Practical Assessment Exploration System) students had grown themselves.
Teacher and Coordinator Tammy Wilkins described the day as wet and wonderful. “It’s been incredible,” Wilkins said. “We always have a lot of good support from the community.”
The gymnasium was full of crafters and booths and offered a wide variety of information about different community organizations and plenty of unique crafts for anyone looking for something different.
