Reedville embraced the spirit of American independence over the holiday weekend with a full slate of patriotic fun and festivities. The streets and houses of Main Street were decked out in red white and blue and provided an idyllic and charming setting for the annual celebration. Activities began early Saturday, July 1 with a 5k Firecracker run that drew in athletes of all ages. By 10 a.m. vendors began to line the sides of the streets to display their wares and the number of visitors started to increase. Reedville Fisherman’s museum offered several hours of fun for the little ones with toy boat building, face painting, and more.
