Task force nabs seven

The Chesapeake Bay Drug Task Force, which consists of the Lancaster and Northumberland County Sheriff’s Offices and The Virginia State Police, announced several drug related arrests. On October 29, Donte A. Smith, 30, of River Road, was arrested for 3 felony counts of the distribution for profit a schedule I or II narcotic; Dasmine D. Fisher, 27 of Greenwood Court, was arrested for felony distribution for resale of a schedule I or II narcotic. Lionel L. Baker, 43 of Oakland Street, was arrested 2 counts of possession of synthetic marijuana. On October 30 Kenneth A. Thomas, Jr., 25 of Irvington Road, was arrested for 5 felony counts of the distribution for resale of a schedule I or II narcotic. Shirley T. Holmes, 52 of Tappahannock, was arrested for felony distribution for profit a schedule I or II narcotic. Kathleen D. Carey, 47 of Tappahannock, was arrested for felony distribution for profit a schedule I or II narcotic. Iris E. Diggs, 64 of James B. Jones Mem. Highway, was arrested for 2 felony counts of distribution for profit a schedule I or II narcotic. Schedule I is a narcotic with no currently accepted medical use in the U.S. such as -heroin, LSD, and marijuana.
Schedule II is a narcotic with a high potential for abuse-such as morphine, opium, and codeine.
