The Town of Kilmarnock’s tradition will continue this year with “Countdown to Christmas” and the yearly ceremonial tree lighting, “I am super excited to invite the entire community to come and join us. It is surely going to be a long-lasting tradition for our town,” said Mae Umphlett, Mayor of Kilmarnock.
This event is on Saturday, November 30, at 5 p.m. at Kilmarnock Town Centre Park, 150 N. Main Street. “Countdown to Christmas” will feature caroling, cookies and cocoa by Campbell Memorial Presbyterian followed by the lighting of the Town’s official Christmas tree. Santa himself will arrive in style and be there to help welcome in the Holiday season and start the countdown to the lighting of the tree.
Parking is on site and at the Community library, this event is free to the public. Please no four-legged friends for their safety.
