The Lancaster By the Bay Chamber of Commerce held their signature event of the year at the Tides Inn in Irvington on Saturday, November 17. “Taste by the Bay” included wine tasting, sample foods, a cidery, and other attractions. The event sold out for its third straight year with 1200 tickets purchased.
The weather turned out to be perfect for the event as people moved around the glamorous resort and enjoyed the views and everything the site had to offer which included live entertainment.
There were eight craft breweries on-hand with samples and many artisan vendors. “This is our sixth year and we’re really thrilled,” said event coordinator Anne Paparella. “This is all about local businesses and Virginia businesses. The first thing we do is open it up to our Chamber members. We want our members to have the chance to participate,” Paparella said.
